Ask 2: “I have just requested an Eztag for my 2nd vehicle. Can I use the eztag lanes while I do not have the tag sent by mail?”
Answer: Yes, you may use the EZ TAG lane throughout the state while you wait for your tag.
We took your question to the Harris County Toll Road Authority. Here is one nugget they’d like to share:
“The great thing is you will also receive our 10 percent discount during this time on our actual roadway. However, be aware that prior to activating your tags, the use on toll roads in Kansas and Oklahoma may result in invoices from those toll authorities. So, we do highly recommend you open an account,” said Jacqueline Moreno Cruz, Customer Service Deputy Assistant Director.
