Track your health with a selfie: App analyzes retina blood vessels to measure blood pressure

AI-generated healthcare is now available and might help you detect a silent killer.

Hypertension often occurs without symptoms, which can lead to strokes, heart attacks and death.

Some studies say patients trying to measure their blood pressure at home aren’t always getting an accurate reading or doing it at the same time every day.

Now, the app “Together by Renee,” can measure your blood pressure with a selfie.

Once you download the app, visit the vitals section on the app and hold the phone up to your face like you’re taking a photo of yourself. The app will then analyze the blood vessels in your retinas to measure your blood pressure.

It can also track your pulse and oxygen level. Plus, it will send reminders to do this regularly while also alerting you to preventative exams you may need.

Many experts remain skeptical about AI technology and lending too many personal details to an app, however, the technology is available and free to use.
