The Houston rap legend hinted at the possibility of Drake joining him on stage during his Rodeo Houston night on Tuesday, March 12.

Known for bringing top-notch talent to Houston, Bun B has curated an impressive lineup for his Rodeo Houston nights.

Last year’s Southern Takeover featured artists like Juvenile, Mannie Fresh, 8 Ball, MJG, and Erykah Badu. This year, the American takeover focuses on artists from the West and East Coast, with the latest addition being none other than Drake himself.

Now, the American takeover is focused on artists from the West and East Coast and everywhere in between.

So far, Bun B has added Nelly, Rick Ross, Mexican OT, Fat Tony, the Ying Yang Twins, E-40, Too $hort, Eve and now Drake.

Speculation about Drake’s appearance began when Bun B shared a post on social media, featuring an owl logo, which is synonymous with Drake’s brand.

The phrase “If you’re reading this it’s too late,” also referenced in the post, is the title of Drake’s 2016 mixtape. It seems that Houston’s honorary resident is ready to make his mark on the rodeo stage.

Drake’s love for Houston is no secret, as he has officially announced his residency in the city. Fans have eagerly awaited the chance to see him perform live, and this collaboration with Bun B promises to be a memorable night for Houstonians.
