We are going bananas, and full of anticipation ahead of Saturday’s game where the Savannah Bananas will play in front of a sold-out crowd down at Minute Maid Park.

The team is determined to do one thing, “MAKE BASEBALL FUN!”

This is the Bananas’ first stop on their ‘Banana Ball’ tour. For these guys, the name of the game is to play fast and have FUN.

Players out there don’t just swing the bat, they also perform choreographed dances to Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, and Mariah Carey hits.

“You name it, they’ve danced to it,” their website read.

We also spoke with the owner and CEO of the Bananas, Jesse Cole, who said his idea for the team started with humble beginnings.

Cole says in the team’s first few months, they only sold a handful of tickets. He says that he and his wife were forced to sell their home and put their money into the team to keep it going.

Now, they’re performing inside Major League Baseball stadiums across the country.

“It is quite the dream come true for all of us to be here,” Cole said.

He says that the show is sort of like a circus breaking out at a baseball game.

This Saturday will be their biggest game EVER, with a packed house of 41,000 fans expected to be in attendance.

Their fans range from newborn, ripe Bananas...
