Houston man jailed in East Texas, accused of killing woman who was driving vehicle he was passenger in

RUSK COUNTY, Texas – A Houston man is being held in an East Texas jail accused of murdering a woman who was driving a car in which he was a passenger.

Justin Roy Edwards, 33, of Houston is in jail in Rusk County, charged with first-degree murder. His bond has been set at $1 million.

The Rusk County Sheriff’s Office said they responded to a call of a crash on Highway 79 on Mar. 3. When they arrived, they found Christina Glenn, 27, dead in the driver’s seat.

The sheriff’s office said evidence found at the scene led them to charge the passenger in the vehicle, identified as Edwards, with murder.

No other details of the case have been released at this time.
