HOUSTON – Houston police are searching for a woman who is wanted after allegedly stabbing and assaulting more than one person last year.

The woman was reportedly seen on surveillance video twice performing similar crimes. The first one took place in the 4400 block of Bettis Drive around 10:55 a.m. on Dec. 9. The second one happened at 4323 San Felipe Street on Dec. 14 at around 2:20 p.m.

According to Detective M. Bellahna of the HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division, a 63-year-old man reported being attacked back on Dec. 9 while walking along Bettis Drive. The suspect, armed with a knife, approached him from behind and reportedly stabbed him in the face before walking away.

Similarly, on Dec. 14, a 30-year-old man said that he was struck on the right side of his head with a sharp object by a female suspect as he walked to his vehicle in the parking lot of 4323 San Felipe Street.

The woman, again approaching from behind, reportedly assaulted him without saying anything.

Surveillance footage, coupled with witness testimonies, was able to identify the same suspect in both incidents.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic woman in her early 40s. She stands at approximately 5′4″ tall and weighs around 180 pounds. Authorities said she typically wears short black hair styled in a bun.
