Ground stop lifted at Hobby Airport after severe thunderstorms

HOUSTON – A ground stop was issued at Houston William P. Hobby for several hours on Friday due to severe thunderstorms in the Houston area.

According to the FAA, all departing flights at Hobby Airport were grounded until 7 p.m.
