Corriann Cervantes was a typical 15-year-old girl who liked listening to music and hanging out with friends - and didn’t always do what her dad wanted her to.

But when she got into a fight with him on February 4, 2014, and left their Clear Lake apartment - she never imagined she’d run straight into the hands of evil.

In the season 5 finale of the KPRC 2 Investigates true crime docuseries ’The Evidence Room,’ we’re focusing on the final hours of Corriann’s life and her killers’ claims they did it all to sell their souls to the devil.

“In all of my 25 years, I’d seen a lot of evil. And I’ve seen a lot of crime scenes and crime scene photos,” says Harris County Assistant District Attorney John Jordan. “I had never seen a crime as brutal as this one.”

From those crime scene photos to chilling police interrogation tapes, and new insights from the prosecutor who pieced it all together to find justice for Coriann’s family - it’s true crime at its best.

‘The Evidence Room’ is now in its fifth season.

The original true crime docuseries produced by KPRC 2 Investigates received national honors from the 44th Annual Telly Awards in 2023. The Telly Awards honors “innovative, inclusive, and disruptive work that breaks through the static.”
