The crash caused about 100 gallons of diesel to spill onto the roadway, spanning about a quarter of a mile. As a result, the westbound lanes of US-90 were shut down at Runneberg, with traffic exiting at Lindstrom.
Currently, no injuries have been reported.
A heavy duty wrecker is now on-scene. The main lanes will remain shut down until the truck and hazmat debris are clear. Traffic is moving along the feeder, so it’s not presenting a mobility issue. #HouNews #HouTraffic https://t.co/jebVG7JoUF pic.twitter.com/ZafOzhZCaa

Sheriff Gonzalez says there is not too much traffic but drivers should expect delays. Hazmat crews have responded to the scene, he adds, and it could take crews a few hours to clean up the spill caused by the wreckage.
Work should be complete in about 1 hour. https://t.co/83ojcj4ugF
