According to an email conversation with a spokesperson for NASA Johnson Space Center, two WB-57 aircraft at Ellington will be flying the path of the eclipse!

The aircraft will fly the path of totality with science instruments on board. Two test flights, I’m told, have already been completed; one on March 27 and the other was Wednesday to ensure all instruments on the aircraft were working.

The next flight will be on Monday, the big day!
