CHAMBERS COUNTY, Texas – A bicyclist was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Chambers County.
The accident happened early Sunday afternoon at FM 1405, South of McKinney Road.

Upon arrival, officials with the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office discovered that the bicyclist had died. Their identity hasn’t been released, nor has the cause of the accident.
FM 1405 was briefly closed for an investigation, but it has since been reopened.
