HOUSTON – A large amount of drugs are off the streets after a multi-agency operation helped dismantle a meth lab in Houston.
Officers with HPD's Narcotics Division & Northeast Crime Suppression Team participated in a multi-agency operation dismantling a meth lab. Investigators seized 45 kilos of meth, a half kilo of black tar heroin & an AK-47 style rifle.

The Houston Police Department said the operation included the department’s Narcotics Division as well as the Northeast Crime Suppression Team.
The department said investigators seized 45 kilos of methamphetamine as well as a half kilo of black tar heroin. An AK47 style rifle was also seized during the operation.
HPD shared photos showing the drugs and the rifle that they confiscated.
