HOUSTON – A search is underway for a man’s assailants after he was shot several times in Houston’s Third Ward, causing him to crash his car.

It happened a little after midnight when the Houston Police Department said it was called to the scene of a car crash on Arbor and Emancipation. Officers say an unidentified man was found a block away at a club with several gunshot wounds.
Police began applying a tourniquet on the man until paramedics arrived to rush him to a nearby trauma center, where at least check, we’re told he will survive.

Preliminary information from authorities is the man was shot several times in his car on Arbor before he crashed and ran to a nearby club. Several bullet casings were found at the scene and it’s believed the shooters took off in an older model white Cadillac.
No additional details have been shared, as of this writing, but an investigation remains underway.
