MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says a wooden bridge in the county has been closed after large planks broke off the bridge.
The bridge is located on Milmac Road near FM 1484 in the Cut and Shoot area.

“Please head barricades and do not attempt to cross the bridge as large planks have broken off, causing a serious and dangerous situation on the bridge,” the sheriff’s office said.
Authorities say to find an alternate route and to not attempt to cross the bridge.
