As the Kingwood community prepares for flooding moving into the weekend, local apartment complexes are confirming concerns that we could see Hurricane Harvey-like flood levels.
A text message obtained by KPRC 2 digital producer Michael Horton shows an alert sent to residents of Town Center Crossing, an apartment community near the intersection of Kingwood Drive and West Lake Houston Parkway.

The message says that the TCC staff has been informed that anyone in the Kingwood area who flooded in Harvey should anticipate similar circumstances in the coming days.
“Fire station 102 here in kingwood [sic] has informed our staff they believe anyone who flooded during Harvey should expect to see flooding yet again,” the message read.
The message also states that the complex’s first floor unites experienced flooding in 2017.
