One person is dead after being shot in the head in southern Houston on Saturday afternoon.
The murder occurred at 8101 Calhoun Road in Sunnyside and was reported at 3:58 p.m. The victim was already dead when authorities arrived at the scene.

Neighbors say they heard three gunshots in total. They also said the victim was female but would not provide an age or specify if she was an adult or a juvenile.
Officers at the scene wouldn’t give an exact age for the victim. They will not be providing information until a homicide investigation is fully underway.
We also don’t currently know what may have led to the violent altercation.
