HOUSTON – Eastbound lanes remain closed on the North Loop of IH-610 after an 18-wheeler carrying a bulldozer struck a concrete median.
The collision was reported around 3:10 p.m. and caused the truck to flip and lose control of the bulldozer it was hauling. At least one other vehicle, identified as a Ford Mustang, was involved in the wreck.

Multiple people were injured and transported to nearby hospitals, but we don’t currently know the extent of their injuries.
Authorities have since confirmed one person died in the crash.

All lanes of the 610 North Loop East near Homestead Road are shut down due to an 18-wheeler that struck and moved concrete center medians. The crash caused the truck to spill fuel on main lanes of the freeway.
