HOUSTON – A man has been arrested after being charged with murder following a deadly shooting at a McDonald’s off the Katy Freeway that left an attorney dead last week.
On Friday, Houston Police arrested Anthony Martin Landry, 58, after being charged with murder on May 9. Landry was also charged with aggravated assault of a family member, as revealed in court documents released following his arrest.

He is currently being held in Harris County Jail and has been denied bail.
The shooting took place at 8147 Katy Freeway (West Interstate Highway 10) service road about 6 p.m. on May 4, according to the Houston Police Department.
Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the man, later identified as Jeffrey Limmer, 46, dead.
The suspect fled the scene in an early 2000s blue Ford pickup truck.
Police at the scene said the suspect, now identified as Landry, was dissatisfied with his order, wanted a refund, and was arguing with the staff. Court documents report that Landry also called the employees racial slurs and other vulgar remarks.
Limmer reportedly tried to calm down the irate customer, but instead, the customer turned his attention toward him.
The argument led both men outside, and police said Limmer pushed the angry customer to the ground and walked back inside.
After that, investigators say the suspect grabbed a gun from his car, opened the door to the restaurant, and shot Limmer twice before driving away from the scene.
Limmer was an attorney for Lewis Brisbois law firm.
Court documents also revealed that Landry had a criminal history dating back to 1997, which included charges of evading arrest and forgery.
