Man shot in leg during robbery in SW Houston, police say

According to police, the man gave the robber his wallet without struggling, but the man shot him in the leg. (Copyright 2024 by KPRC Click2Houston - All rights reserved.)

A man was shot in the leg during a robbery in southwest Houston after handing over his wallet to the robber.

The incident happened in the 8300 block of Williamcrest at 10:30 p.m.

The victim was working on appliances in an industrial area when he was approached by the robber, who demanded his wallet. The man gave the robber his wallet and did not struggle but the robber shot him in the leg, according to HPD.

He was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition.
