HOUSTON – A house fire along Memorial Drive caused traffic delays Monday during the afternoon rush hour.
The home is just west of I-610 between Carnarvon Drive and Chatsworth Drive.

From Sky 2, the damage to the home looked pretty bad. No one was hurt.
Houston Fire is asking people to avoid the area because a lot of their emergency vehicles are blocking roads.
@HoustonFire is currently on scene at 8827 Memorial performing extinguishment efforts on a 2-alarm house on fire. There are currently no injuries. Please avoid the area due to heavy emergency traffic. @FireChiefofHFD
