WALLER, Texas – A temporary curfew has been ordered in the City of Waller.
The curfew comes after storms left damage in the area on Thursday. The Waller County Sheriff’s Office shared a photo of the order on social media.

Under the order, It shall be unlawful for any person to remain on, or travel upon, any public street, road, sidewalk or other public property in the City of Waller between the hours of 12 a.m. and 6 a.m.

The order does not apply to police officers, firefighters, or any other persons authorized by local, state or federal governmental officials to assist in protecting public health and safety.
The order goes into effect Monday and will last until Friday, May 24.
