Benjamin Williams, 19, has been arrested for the second time for stealing mail in the Spring area.
In Friday’s arrest, Harris County Constable Precinct 4 deputies pursued Williams in a vehicle that refused to stop, traveling northbound on Stuebner Airline Road. The pursuit ended when deputies managed to stop the vehicle at FM 2920 and SH 99, with no injuries reported.

After stopping the vehicle, deputies found counterfeit mailbox keys and numerous stolen mail checks valued at over $100,000.
Court records show that Williams received a two-year probation sentence after his first arrest for mail theft in July 2022.
In Williams’ 2022 arrest, he and a juvenile girl were caught with stolen mail from a Spring neighborhood. Deputies discovered them after responding to reports of mailbox theft in the 6000 block of Oak Creek Lane. Williams and the girl attempted to flee but were arrested.
They were found with several pieces of stolen mail containing sensitive information. Williams was charged with theft of mail, while the girl was handed over to the Klein Independent School District Police Department and similarly charged.
“Benjamin Williams was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle,” stated Constable Mark Herman in a press release. “His bond and court information have not been set at this time. The Postal Police will be filing additional charges.”
