The Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office has announced that numerous beach access points in the area will be closed due to extreme high tides.
Residents and visitors are advised to alter their weekend plans as these closures are expected to affect those intending to travel to the beach. The high tides have made access unsafe, resulting in the temporary shutdown of entry points to ensure public safety.

The tides are anticipated to lower by 4 p.m. today, at which point access may be re-evaluated and potentially reopened.
