Can you imagine: You’re 79 years old and one day a guy in a car suffers a seizure, loses control of his vehicle, and drives straight into your house?
It happened to Mrs. Lorraine Baly of Missouri City last December 12.
The damage was ridiculous, with the car tearing apart the outer brick layer of Lorraine’s house and crashing through the drywall.
The ceiling caved in along with much of the roofing structure and the car came to rest inside Lorraine’s modest home.
That was five months ago, and since then, a series of plastic tarps has been the only thing keeping the rain, weather, and wildlife out of Lorraine’s home.
The driver of that car had no insurance, and to top it all off, he died a short time ago.
With nowhere else to turn, Lorraine is now asking Bill Spencer and the Spencer Solves It Team to help get her home repaired as soon as possible.
Today, Bill begins that process and will reach out to contractors and brick masonry specialists to try to fix this huge and very expensive problem for Lorraine.
You can watch Bill’s reports today at 5 and 6 p.m. on KPRC 2 News. If you own a construction company or do masonry and would like to help Bill with this project, please email him at bspencer@kprc.com.
Bill will need all the help he can get to complete this project!
