According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan PD, Deandre Rogers, 34, is wanted for his alleged role in the murder of Candace Powell in March 2024. It’s believed Powell was driven to the hospital (in her car) shortly after she was shot but died shortly after getting there.

Powell’s car was later found but it’s unclear who was driving her car and dropped her off at the hospital.

Rogers, meanwhile, has been named a potential suspect in Powell’s case, so a warrant has been issued for his arrest on Murder charges as well as possession of a firearm and illegally carrying a gun because of a previous felony conviction.

However, the search has widened outside Indianapolis because authorities say “Rogers has connections to the Houston, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia areas.”
