Surveillance footage captures gunman in fatal SW Houston shooting

HOUSTON – Police have released surveillance footage that captured the moment a man was fatally shot in southwest Houston.

The tragic events took place Tuesday on Braesvalley Drive in the Maplewood neighborhood. Investigators learned that the shooter and the victim were in a heated argument before the murder.

In the snippet of security footage released by Houston PD, the shooter is seen wearing a hooded North Face puffer jacket and blue Nike shorts. He then fires a handgun before casually turning around and walking away.
