LEAGUE CITY, TX: – A woman’s lifeless body was found hanging off a dock in League City on Friday.
Investigators found her body hanging by a rope after getting calls shortly before 2 p.m. from people at a marina on Davis Road.

Detectives talked with the woman’s friends and people who live in the area.
Officers and detectives also encountered a man, who they said became very distraught. They said he was possibly the woman’s boyfriend and was refusing to come out of his boat. After a short time, officers were able to talk the man into getting out of the boat.
Friday night, investigators were going through surveillance video for more information that could help them figure out exactly what happened.
They were also working to get in touch with the woman’s family.
