HOUSTON – Authorities are piecing together what led up to a deadly shooting outside of a club in southwest Houston, where two people were hit, one of whom died.

It happened a little before 2:45 a.m. when officers with the Houston PD were called to Cosmos Nite Club on Gulfton St. Responding investigators there said they found an unidentified man dead from several gunshot wounds.
Another man was then found down the street after reportedly running away from the location. Police said he suffered gunshot wounds in his legs, so they applied tourniquets before firefighters took him to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

At last check, authorities do not have information on the shooters or what provoked the entire incident, so no additional details have been shared. However, officials are continuing their investigation to find out what happened.
