A sanitation employee, Fred Drain, 58, suffered serious injuries back in April while working at a home over on Dripping Lane, near Fulton and Tidwell roads.

“I‘m just trying to fight for my like the best way I know how,” Drain said.

According to the employee’s attorney, Maverick Ray, that’s when two dogs reportedly ran from the backyard and attacked him. One of the dogs, did the lion’s share of the attacking, and Ray said that pitbull has a history.

“This is the seventh time, that this specific dog has been reported to have attacked someone,” Ray said.

BARC has cited the dogs owner with misdemeanor violations, but does not know where the dog is now and lacks the authority to enter private property and seize someone’s animal.

So now, the Houston Police Department’s Major Offenders Division, has picked up the case.

Photos shared by his attorney also paint a graphic image of the injuries he suffered to his left eye and left thigh, as well as his right leg.
