1 hospitalized after vehicle crashes into METRO bus shelter in SW Houston

HOUSTON – One person has been taken to a hospital after a vehicle crashed into a METRO bus shelter in the Sharpstown area of Houston.

It happened at 7910 Bellaire Blvd. near Fondren Road around 2:15 p.m.

HPD said at least one person has been taken to the hospital. METRO PD says the person hospitalized was under the shelter. They were transported to Ben Taub Hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time.
