As Downtown Houston continues to rebuild in the aftermath of last month’s derecho, the city has provided an updated list of which streets have reopened and which ones remain closed as repairs persist.
The update was posted to X (formerly Twitter) by the official Downtown Houston account.

Andrews from Smith to Shaw

Louisiana from Pease to Bell
Louisiana from Polk to Lamar
Dallas from Smith to Milam
Milam from Capitol to Rusk
Travis from Franklin to Commerce

The post also clarified that business and festivities taking place Downtown will likely go on normally as the construction continues.
