A man is in the hospital following an early morning shooting in northeast Houston, where police say his cousin fired the shots.
The incident happened on Vailview Drive near Leedale Street around 12:30 a.m.
Police report that an ongoing feud between the two men escalated into a violent confrontation. Investigators said that the suspect’s wife discovered the victim on the floor, while her husband was nowhere to be found.
The victim sustained two gunshot wounds and was taken to the hospital, where he is expected to recover. HPD is actively searching for the suspect, who is still on the run.
