HOUSTON – School may have been out, but Houston ISD in need of a hot, healthy meal can still have access this summer.
As part of Houston ISD’s Summer Feeding Program, students and any child up to the age of 18, as well as enrolled students with disabilities up to age 21, can get a healthy meal at no cost during the break.

The district says these meals help ensure students who relied on school meals during the academic year may still have access to good nutrition while on summer vacation.
The program is part of HISD’s Nutrition Services, which kicked off Friday, June 17 but will continue through Friday, July 19.

Breakfast will be served Monday through Friday 7:15 a.m. - 8:15 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11 a.m. - noon (unless otherwise specified by individual campuses with more than one lunch period.)
Meals will not be provided on June 19, July 4, or July 5. See below for a list of meal sites:
