HOUSTON – Houston area rapper Travis Scott was arrested in Miami Wednesday night for disorderly intoxication and trespassing after allegedly yelling at people on a yacht, according to NBC News.
The 33-year-old “Sicko Mode” rapper was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center around 4:30 a.m. on a charge of disorderly intoxication, as well as trespassing property after warning, NBC News reported.

“Mr. Scott was briefly detained due to a misunderstanding. There was absolutely no physical altercation involved, and we thank the authorities for working with us towards a swift and amicable resolution,” according to a statement Travis Scott’s legal rep, Bradford Cohen, sent to KPRC 2′s Moriah Ballard.
Scott, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster II, performed in Houston earlier this week for what many people assumed to be his first performance in his hometown since the tragic 2021 Astroworld Festival.
The 2021 Astroworld Music Festival left 10 dead and hundreds of others injured. Last month, the final wrongful death lawsuit, filed by the family of 9-year-old Ezra Blount, the youngest person killed during the festival, was settled.
The lawsuit filed by Blount’s family was one of 10 wrongful death civil suits filed after the deadly concert.
Terms of the settlements in all 10 lawsuits remain confidential.
