Burglars, 15 and 11, arrested in Shirley Acres wedding venue break-in

The teen is accused of breaking into the wedding venue, stealing property, and causing over $4,500 in damages.

A 15-year-old and an 11-year-old were arrested after being caught red-handed during a burglary at Shirley Acres.

On June 19, deputies from the Precinct 4 Constable’s Office quickly responded to a burglary in progress at Shirley Acres in the 200 block of Woerner Rd.

The deputies say they caught the 15-year-old in the act.

The teen is accused of breaking into the business, stealing property, and causing over $4,500 in damages.

An 11-year-old was also charged in connection with the crime.

“The juvenile male was arrested and booked into the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center, charged with burglary of a building,” said Constable Mark Herman.
