Houston woman arrested for slamming 8-year-old nephew into wall, assaulting peace officers

A Houston woman has been arrested after allegedly assaulting her 8-year-old nephew, which included slamming him into a wall and also assaulting two peace officers.

On June 21, Christian Michell Bordere is accused of causing bodily harm to her nephew by hitting him, trying to strangle him, and forcefully slamming his body against a wall.

A motive for why she was beating him was not disclosed.

The court documents indicate the assault on the young boy was not the only offense, as Bordere also allegedly assaulted two peace officers during her arrest.

Bordere was charged with two counts of assaulting a peace officer and one count of injury to a child causing bodily injury. Her bond was set at $10,000 for the injury to a child charge and $7,500 for each charge of assaulting a police officer, totaling $25,000.
