WEBSTER, Texas – Great Wolf Lodge Texas Gulf Coast in Webster announced the resort will be opening three weeks earlier than expected and shared the new date for its grand opening.
The resort is scheduled to open on Wednesday, Aug. 7. This will be the second Great Wolf Lodge in Texas, with the other one being located in Grapevine, Texas.

In addition, the resort hopes to fill more than 600 positions for jobs at the indoor water park resort through a job fair.
The hiring event will be held at Bayway Village Shopping Mall in Webster from June 29 through July 13 starting at 9 a.m. each day.
The resort will be interviewing for a variety of positions, including lifeguard, engineering, kids’ entertainment, attractions, front desk, housekeeping and more. Wages start at $16 per hour and extend to $27 per based on the role.
