It’s unclear how the fire started, but several firefighters were called to the 2400 block of Hartledge Rd, around 11:15 p.m. Monday. Initial crews with Rosenberg Fire Department found heavy flames coming from the 3-story warehouse and noticed no hydrants in the area.

Several agencies as a result sent support crews including Fulshear, Sugar Land, and Brazoria Fire Department, and water tenders to shuttle the water.

There were also attempts to use water from a pond nearby but the Rosenberg FD fire marshall says the landowner denied it.

As of Tuesday morning, crews were still putting out some hotspots. No injuries were reported due to the fire.
