Jeep community mourns ‘Duck Duck Jeep’ founder Allison Parliament

The founder of the popular “Duck Duck Jeep” movement has passed away unexpectedly.

“Duck Duck Jeep,” created by Allison Parliament, is a heartwarming initiative that began as a simple act of kindness within the Jeep community. Participants place small rubber ducks on fellow Jeep owners’ vehicles as a way to spread joy and connect with each other.

This movement has grown into a global phenomenon, uniting Jeep enthusiasts everywhere with its message of positivity and connection.

Allison’s mother, Cheryl Parliament, shared on social media, thanking everyone for their kind messages about her daughter.

Thank you all for being patient as I made the trip to get to Allison. We were waiting for confirmation of her sudden death. Allison passed away on June 22nd at her home in Canada of natural causes, it was peacefully. We are still processing all of this and want to thank everyone who has made posts. Even though we have not been able to respond, we are reading them, and it gives us peace to see how happy our daughter made people in the Jeep community and beyond.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Allison Parliament, the visionary founder of the DuckDuckJeep movement, on June 22, 2024. Allison’s kindness, creativity, and passion have left an indelible mark on the Jeep community and beyond.

In the summer of 2020, amidst the global challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Allison Parliament started the DuckDuckJeep movement. What began as a simple act of kindness, leaving rubber ducks on Jeeps to spread joy and positivity, quickly became an international phenomenon. Jeep owners and enthusiasts embraced the movement, which became a symbol of unity, camaraderie, and unexpected happiness in trying times.
