As for the rules of roundabouts, Law Enforcement liaison, Katie Alexander with the Texas Municipal Police Association explains what you should if you come across one.
“In order to enter a roundabout, there are three things you have to remember. You’ve got to slow down. You’ve got to look around and you’ve got to be ready to yield. You got to yield to the cars in those lanes. This sounds like one of those roundabouts that may have two lanes and when it comes to two lanes you have got to sit back and realize what lane you are going to go into. But you are still going to be yielding to those cars,” Alexander explained.
