According to the Montgomery Co. Precinct 3 Constable’s Office, an investigation was launched into 33-year-old Scott Jacob Baldwin back in June. During the investigation, investigators learned Baldwin was planning to meet with an unidentified woman in The Woodlands. However, detectives said Baldwin and the woman set up a plan to meet in person “for the sole purpose of sexually assaulting” the woman’s 13-year-old daughter.

It was later revealed (via talks with the woman) that Baldwin “detailed his sexual interest in children and recounted previous sexual contacts he’s had with other victims in the Tarrant County area.”

Investigators looked into Baldwin’s history and found previous allegations of sexual assault in Tarrant County, corroborating his claims. An arrest warrant was filed and Baldwin was taken into custody on June 26th at Montgomery County Jail, where he’s being held on a $100,000 bond.
