HOUSTON – A woman was found dead inside an apartment in the Westchase area of Houston Tuesday night.
Lt. Larry Crowson with the Houston Police Department said officers responded to an apartment complex located near the corner of Westpark and S. Gessner around 8 p.m. on a reported shooting and disturbance.

When officers arrived, they entered an apartment unit and found a woman dead with multiple gunshot wounds.
Crowson said a man may have forced his way inside the apartment before the shooting occurred.
Police are currently looking for any witnesses and canvassing the area for any surveillance video.
