HOUSTON – Heavy rain from Hurricane Beryl is impacting the Greater Houston area, leading to roadways reporting high water.

KPRC 2 is urging residents to “turn around, don’t drown” if they happen to encounter some of these roadways, but we’re also giving drivers a heads-up before heading out the door.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez and Harris County Officials also said the following streets are flooded in Harris County:

• Cypresswood, between Champion and Cutten on the eastbound side.
• Aldine Mail Rt @ Eastex Freeway.
• Wallisville and Uvalde
• 59 and Aldine Bender Rd
• Hopper @ Eastex Freeway
• Greenhouse and Franz
• Saums and Greenhouse
• Downtown Houston by the Harris County Jail
• 18700 block of Wallisville Rd
• 14400 block of Cutten Road - Two trees blocking the roadway
• Gessner Road and Phillippine Street - Tree blocking the southbound lanes
• 9300 New Forest Road - Two trees down blocking entire street
• 249 Feeder Road - Two trees down blocking the North and South bound lanes of Louetta Road
• Northpointe Blvd and Hufsmith Kohrville Road - downed tree
