Amber alert issued for missing child, 5, believed to be last seen in north Houston with wanted 60-year-old man

HOUSTON – An amber alert has been issued for a missing child believed to be with a wanted man, last seen in north Houston.

The Texas Department of Public Safety says Henderson Calderon Carranza, 5, was last seen in the 5500 block of Antoine Dr. at 9 a.m. Thursday. He is described as 3′2″ tall, with brown eyes and black hair, weighing about 55 pounds.

Investigators say the 5-year-old was last seen with Jose Calderon Arias, 60, and is wanted by Texas DPS. He has been described as 5′5″ tall, weighing about 165 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

The two are believed to be traveling in a black Hyundai Sonata with an unknown license plate.
