Man found dead in Midtown shed, HPD investigating

An investigation is underway after a man was found dead inside a shed in Midtown Saturday night, according to the Houston Police Department.

The incident happened at 10 p.m. at the 2200 block of Milam, initially dispatched as a person down.

Two people waiting for a bus were flagged down by three other individuals, who reported that there was a dead person inside the shed.

Upon investigation, HPD discovered the male victim, who appeared to have died from blunt force trauma.

Anyone with information in this case is asked to call the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or speak anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
