The charge of endangering a child was filed after authorities determined that Avuru’s actions placed the baby in imminent danger of bodily injury.

According to the Texas Family Code, Avuru did not voluntarily deliver the baby to a designated emergency infant care provider.

It’s not clear at this time what Avuru’s relationship is to the child. As of the latest reports, no bond amount was listed online, and Avuru remains in jail.
