Are you planning to attend a Texans’ open practice this summer? Here’s some information on what you can expect as you watch the squad prepare for its most anticipated campaign in years:

Tickets and Parking

When the training camp schedule was first released, tickets were free to the public. However, the tickets for all eight practices quickly sold out on Ticketmaster. If you didn’t get the memo in time, there’s no need to panic! You can still find training camp tickets on other ticket selling sites, like VividSeats, for as low as $3.

According to the Texans’ site, parking at the Green Lot near Houston Methodist Training will be free of charge, and mobile tickets will be required for entry to open practice.

What you can bring

To make sure that everyone is safe, the open practice enforces the NFL’s clear bag policy, so leave the JanSports and Louis Vuitton bags at home. Fans are also allowed to bring in one sealed bottle of water, so make sure you plan ahead and stay hydrated!

The full list of prohibited items can be found here.

Weather

In the event of inclement weather, open practices can be cancelled. Unfortunately, there are no make-up dates. In the event of a storm on your open practice day, you can see any updated weather information here.
