HOUSTON – A news conference was held Thursday afternoon at the Four Seasons Hotel regarding CenterPoint’s transparency connected to Hurricane Beryl.
The coalition of civic organizations met to discuss this very important meeting with CenterPoint Energy earlier today.

At the press conference, representatives of CenterPoint included CEO Jeff Wells, Senior VP Jason Ryan, and June Deadrick Government Relations.
The Community Coalition included Bishop James Dixon-Houston NAACP; Judson Robinson-HAUL; Johnny Mata-Greater Houston Justice Coalition; Mary Ramos-LULAC; Bishop Johnny Tates; Dr. Sam Gilbert; and Bishop John Ogletree.
The following elected officials also joined the press conference: Congressman Al Green, Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee’s representative, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, and Texas Legislative Black Caucus Chairman Ron Reynolds.
