A man has died after being shot in the parking lot of a Houston-area apartment complex Saturday.
Deputies with Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene in the parking lot at 13503 North Thorntree. There, they found an adult male who had sustained gunshot wounds.

Officials say the shooter fled the scene after the shooting.
HCSO did not release the identity of the victim, but they said he is possibly in his 20s.
