UPDATE: Silver Alert canceled after missing Spring Branch man found

HOUSTON – The Silver Alert issued for Leeo Gisland, a 68-year-old man diagnosed with dementia who went missing Saturday, has been cancelled after he was found safe.

Leeo Gisland, 68, reportedly has dementia and was last seen around 4 p.m. Saturday walking with a cane away from the 1700 block of Gessner Road.

He was last seen wearing a black and red baseball cap, black tank top, light blue jeans and glasses.

The Houston Police Department says Gisland is known to ride the METRO bus and may be in the 3rd Ward area.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact HPD’s Missing Person Unit at 832-394-1840.
